This archive contains a wide-release beta version of Pegasus Mail for the Macintosh version 2.2. By "wide release beta", we mean that it has been in testing with a selected beta testing team for quite some time and we now believe it is nearly ready for unrestricted release. Before doing an unrestricted release, however, we traditionally bring out a wide release beta in which we expect our users to uncover small problems that were missed in the beta testing phase.
We do not guarantee that your use of this program will be trouble-free, although we would not have released it if we thought it were likely to cause significant difficulties. Still, you use the wide beta version at your own risk.
If you encounter problems while using this program, please report them directly to Richard Stevenson, using the e-mail address tech-support@pmail.gen.nz. We expect to release v2.2 in unrestricted form before the end of February 1997.
Manuals for v2.2 should be available around February 20th 1997.
